Something that happened in my part time job today ...

Man, I am so sick of people gaslighting about what to do. I work in retail, a company call Fossil. Weird name. I know.
So, what happened today is, I was serving a customer, two guys, 1 father and 1 mother(which came later). At first, I showed them where the men's watches were, and told them what watches there are. Classic. Sports. Rugged. Automatic. Then they asked me which ones are the 'latest in line of collection'.


Look here pal, what the hell do you mean by 'latest in line or collection', why can't you just say, "which are the latest watches?". But to be fair, I do not know the answer, I am just a part-timer, my wages are lower than a full time cleaner. And my colleagues never told me which are the new line of products. 

So like any insane person would do, my colleagues, blamed me for spreading or saying wrong information to the customers. It would be nice if they just stop me there and take over, but they decide to talk shit behind my back. Honestly, if they had taught me before, this embarrassment wouldn't have happened. So it's their fault, not mine. I am not going to ask any questions about their stupid store, because I am not interested. I am just interested in their pay check.

Then again, the least I could do is to remember what I did wrong and press on. Nobody gives a shit about my feelings, I could study Fossil for an entire year and they can still bring up any kind of excuse for my mistake. I am kind of sick of people calling my voice too soft. It's not that I want to be soft brother. It's just I slept really late yesterday due to insomnia, and I am just not fluent in English. My family speaks 100% Chinese, how am I suppose to be fluent in speaking English, and conduct sales. To be ridiculed about this makes me really frustrated. And hearing "how many times already" doesn't make it right either. This happens because none of you conveyed or taught me the right way. To be fair, I don't even know what is the 'right' way to teach me. So there's no reason to blame them. But they still pissed me off, so here is a blog post.

So let's talk about what I did wrong.
1. Telling the customer that Wizard of Oz is my newest edition or latest watches, without confirming with my colleagues/full-timers. Plus they're not related to Men's watch, they are Woman's watch.
2. Leaning or standing too close to customers. Because I can't hear them.
3. When the customer chose a box, I stood there and didn't follow-up by saying, "so you have chosen this box, huh? Follow me to the counter".
4. Speaking too softly or mumble.

Honestly it's not really such a bad mistake. Point 1 is due to my colleague not teaching me what are the newest edition. Point 2 is because I really cannot hear what they were saying, plus the two guys were taking years to choose a fucking watch that cost less than a Wacom tablet. Point 3 is due to them not asking me what to do, and plus I am not one to be pro-active, I am ISFP for goodness sake. Pro-active and assertive-ness is like my greatest flaw. It was still funny watching those two guys not understanding what to do though.
Point 4 is subjective, if I am speaking too soft, then I must be feeling weak, or the music is too loud(plus there were a lot of people). No one would want to listen to a guy screaming right? There has to be appropriate level.

Well, now that I have rant enough, wait actually, I haven't rant enough.

Fuck Lilia, stupid ugly ass Filipino full-timer.
Fuck Saliman, stupid ugly ass Filipino manager.
Fuck Yu Qi, stupid ugly ass Chinese with the biggest ass in the world and ugly bitch face nigga.

Imagine being 50 and still in retail, lol wtf, get a life Saliman. 10 years wasted on retail.

Anyway, I guess I should still reflect what I should remember.

1. The latest edition is usually displayed outside the store, they are obligated to showcase new watches outside the store or near the glass panel outside.
2. The latest edition for men's are the Carraway, Everett, Sport Tourer Chronograph. For woman's it's Raquel.
3. All the best sellers are displayed at the top of each shelves.
4. The photos or frames that holds photos displayed what is currently trending or new.

Fuck this shit man. I am not shy around others. Or am I? Man fuck.

Nobody is hiring.

That's right people, nobody is hiring in singapore. You can have diploma or degree but you fail at communication, nobody will hire you. It's been weeks since I've graduated from Republic Polytechnic (RP). I have made this post out of sheer frustration and hatred at the school. The reasons are pretty simple. Take note that my school is beautiful, the environment is beautiful and the facilitators are all nice but... most of them are very bashful and would rather give you a D grade or B grade without telling you anything.  I am not sure what is the point of B grade and D grade here, we all know that all singaporean high school graduates are aiming for a degree or after polytechnic they are going to find a nice job, have a great career, make singapore great again. But honestly, after 3 years of studying here, I feel like I have just wasted 3 years of my life here.
